Experiment on DXpedition efficiency

To compare various Dxpeditions we should take into account similar phase of solar cycle, as much as possible – similar position in most wanted list and similar equipment and geographical location. It is almost impossible to have all factors equal. Nevertheless I will make some comparison of this year (2017) and previous (2016) efforts below.

Few of this DXpeditions had well known DXpeditioners in their crew:

E31A – JH1AJT, DJ9ZB, RA9USU, E21EIC
T31T – 3Z9DX, SP3DOI, SP7VC
3B9/G3TXF – G3TXF
TN5E – LA7GIA
H40GC – LZ1GC

Most of them were using power amplifier…

  1. Hi,
there are several mistakes on ur page:

My call must be SP7VC not SP7VU

    T31T made 30394 QSO in 10 days ( not 11) and QSO/Person/Day must be 1018 not 921

    Mek SP7VC

    1. Mek, sorry for mistake in your callsign.
According to Clublog it was 11 days. Calendar days are counted in my statistics in all dxpeditions (not 24 hours).

  2. Hi
You should also consider the numbert of stations on air.
2 operators ith one rig will necesarily make less QSOs than 2 operators with 2 stations on…
